THE MORE I SEE, THE MORE I SEE

Communication
w/ Nicole Vindel

A commissioned  performance for the eyewear brand DeLarge. This artistic experience aims to challenge our singular perspective and encourage us to see the world through a wider lens. Through the performance people are encouraged to transcend their singular viewpoints and embrace a broader reality, a change of perspective, both metaphorically and literally. Food, messages, objects and eyewear are hidden across the room, invisible to us. Only by looking from another point of view through our hacked sunglasses you are able to discover what is hidden and to see beyond our singular point of view.

"The more I see, the more I see" is a call to action. It pushes us to look beyond our immediate surroundings and acknowledge the vast socio-cultural tapestry woven around us. This performance encourages us to embrace a "plural reality," where different viewpoints coexist and enrich our understanding of the world. It's an invitation to rediscover the power of our senses and how they shape our perception.

By adopting a different perspective, the performance suggests, we can unlock a sense of joy. Imagine the thrill of a child searching for hidden treasures, their eyes wide with wonder. "The More I See, The More I See" encourages us to recapture that childlike curiosity and rediscover the magic hidden within the familiar. By unlearning preconceived notions and embracing the opportunity to relearn, we can unlock new dimensions of experience and appreciation for the world around us.
